Program Eligibility
Next Step Recovery is a transitional living facility
for adult males 18 years of age or older who are recovering from substance
abuse. Eligible applicants must be clean and sober for at least 30 days prior
to admission or must come directly from a chemical dependency treatment facility.
Admission is strictly voluntary. Men join our transitional
living community because they are committed to working on their own recovery
and helping others do the same.
NOTE: We currently do
not admit people taking Suboxone.
Background Check
To ensure we maintain a safe environment for our residents and staff, all
applicants will be subject to a background check and a telephone interview.
No applicant will be accepted with a history of violent crimes, arson, assault
on a female, or sexual assault charges or convictions.
Alcohol/Drug Screening
We are committed to providing a supportive, drug- and
alcohol-free community to our residents in recovery. The use of alcohol or
drugs will result in immediate dismissal.
We enforce this policy by administering
random daily drug screens and by screening after all weekend passes. |
