Next Step Recovery has three newly constructed adjacent
houses that can accommodate up to 30 adult males. Two houses
are designated for participants in our transitional living
recovery program. Our third building houses up to 6 staff
members.
One of our program houses contains a commercial kitchen
and a dining room that can comfortably seat up to 14 people.
This house also contains two living rooms, administrative
offices, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our second program
house contains eight bedrooms and four bathrooms as well
as laundry facilities. Both houses have local telephones,
satellite TV and internet access.
Our property is located in the historic Montford district
of Asheville, a charming community filled with Victorian
inns, private family residences, and several parks and recreation
centers. Next Step Recovery residents are only a short walk
from downtown Asheville and an even shorter walk to the city’s
bus route.
