We invite you to explore our
transitional living community for men located in the
Montford district of Asheville, a historic neighborhood
filled with Victorian bed and breakfasts, private family
residences, and several parks and recreation centers.
Next Step Recovery residents are only a short walk from
downtown Asheville and an even
shorter walk to the city's bus route.
Our
Men's Recovery Houses Our three adjacent houses
can accommodate up to 30 adult males, with two houses
reserved for program residents and one reserved for Next
Step staff. Our facilities include several living and
dining areas, a large fully equipped kitchen, laundry
facilities,
double-occupancy bedrooms and ample bathrooms. All
houses have local telephones, satellite TV and internet
access.
Our
Outdoor Adventure Program At Next Step Recovery, we
are committed to helping adult men in early recovery
develop and strengthen the life skills that will help
them live substance free with a sense of purpose and
joy. An important component of our life skills program
is helping our residents learn how to have fun and relax
without alcohol or chemical substances.
Our
Serenity Garden Our Serenity Campaign will culminate
with the purchase of our residential property and the
construction of a beautiful Japanese garden that will
celebrate our courageous residents, their sponsors
and families, and the generous donors who have helped
make their continued recovery possible.

for Men is located near downtown Asheville, North Carolina.
