We know residents will face challenges when they graduate from our transitional living program. Recovery is a lifelong process and requires daily work.

To support this transition, Next Step Recovery offers exit strategy and reintegration assistance and can help graduates locate extended recovery services that include

• Comprehensive case management
• Recovery monitoring
• Continuing care support
• Educational counseling
• Dual diagnosis monitoring and support
• Recovery support team coordination
• Addictions-related legal support
• Monthly progress reports and guidance
• Alcohol and drug testing/compliance verification
• Placement guidance in the event of relapse

Working with an extended recovery service provider can help individuals and families identify relapse behaviors before relapse occurs and takes families out of the “policing” role, allowing families to work on their recovery and healing relationships.

Extended recovery services are especially helpful for residents with a history of relapse and for those whose recovery is complicated by other medical or psychiatric diagnoses or legal issues.
